lyrics

I feel so sad when I think about,

All these bad things we never doubt,

How we gonna stop what we’re doing now

There’s some things we can live without

They’re taking our

Treasure...

(Sample of David Attenborough speaking)

Treasure...

Will there be any more animals left?

What does this mean for the future of our planet?

Well, statistics show the way it goes we’re moving into close

Contact with extinction of multiple species didn’t you know,

Numbers sinking low

Plunder bring the dough

Some are thinking slow

Cause when they’re all dead where will you go (oh)/

And we’re reacting to David Attenborough saying it’s bad how the endangered animals are being replaced with avatars,

From outer Africa to some place out in Canada poachers and native capturers ravaging any challengers/

Closer to home our local streets are paved with abattoirs

Farmers create a massacre just for your favourite snack at bars,

The natural world is spectacular,

Is it too late to turn back from the damage we’ve caused the planet nah,/

But they wouldn’t get the point if they had acupuncture,

Literally living off the dead humans are savage vultures

The Amazons infrastructure is damaged by agriculture,

We’re matricidal if nature’s our mother/

(Hook)

I feel so sad when I think about,

All these bad things we never doubt,

How we gonna stop what we’re doing now

There’s some things we can live without

They’re taking our

Treasure...

We’re mass murderers for pleasure, but really we should

Treasure...

Because they should have known better, each life is like a

Treasure...

We stain the (planet) oceans with their blood as we’re collecting our

Treasure...

But we won’t be around forever, (unless we start to)

V2/ Treasure each life that’s living instead of killing in a mindless rhythm

Seafood on Fridays a nice tradition

The money driven fish farms are just a wider prison

So put your fork down and try envision/

These aquatic concentration camps rise and glisten

Once acrobatic bodies stamped with the eyes of victims,

Theres no quality of life in this type of system,

If you could understand their cries then would something deep inside you listen/

Forgive em It’s all a lie, the charities ain’t kind of different or even kind

Cause they’re set up by the guys that’s fishing,

So disguised listen I’m just wishing

There was a way to stop their blind ambition/

Cause we don’t need to torture creatures for the right nutrition

Participate by omission, write, sign petitions

Remember all those dead bodies when the tide has risen

And think about what’s behind what’s inside your kitchen/
